1 In order to access Marketplace, you need to click the MARKETPLACE icon, which can be found in the main menu on the Facebook app or the website.

2 f you can’t see Marketplace when logging into your Facebook account, try to log out of Facebook. After that, try logging into Facebook again. If this is not working, try to update or reinstall the app.

3 You should know that Facebook Marketplace is available only to users at least 18 years old in supported countries.

You can contact the seller through a message to buy something listed on Marketplace. Send a message to the seller to arrange the sale.


1 Click the Marketplace icon (it is in the left menu).

2 Click on the item you wish to buy.

3 Contact the seller using one of these two options:

  • Tap MESSAGE to send a message to the seller
  • Click SEND to send a message (Is this available?)


How to sell on Facebook Marketplace

If you want to sell products or services on Facebook Marketplace, you need to share a public listing that will be visible to anyone on Marketplace, in the search bar, in Feed, and in other places on Facebook, too.

4 Add the details for items you want to sell. You can mark articles as free if you enter 0 as the price.

5 Click NEXT Make sure you’ve added all the information required.

6 Publish to post your listing.
