My name is Razvan Gavrilas, and I'm the founder of BrandMentions (and cognitiveSEO). Adding a "human" touch to the tools we create is one of my main concerns, especially when we face so much automation. Therefore, I want to share with you the BrandMentions story.
It all started with a personal frustration: I was unable to monitor my brands and the competitors accurately. Once you've entered brandmentions.com, follow the directions provided to complete and submit to the BrandMentions launch contest. To be eligible for the contest you need to validate your email address via the link in the email that you receive from us when registering. Each contestant is provided with a unique referral link. Simply share that referral link with your friends and audience. The more referrals, the more chances to win. A leaderboard will be visible on the site, letting contestants know their current position.
To be eligible for any of the prizes listed above and to get early access to the BrandMentions app, you must send a minimum number of one validated referral. Contestants from all countries are eligible for participation. The employees, team members, subsidiaries or affiliates of the BrandMentions, cognitiveSEO or any of the sponsors' staff are not eligible to enter or win.
A validated referral is someone who joins the BrandMentions contest, via your unique link and validates his email by clicking the confirm link in the registration email he/she receives.
We value the hard work our users invest to teach, share and promote BrandMentions. This is why our engineers have developed a robust system for detecting and tracking cheaters. Users who refer fake or invalid signups will be disqualified.

The contestants with the most entries will win, in order of the number of entries, the 1st Place, 2nd Place or Top 5 prizes listed on the prizes category. Top 50 contestants will also be eligible for winning prizes, according to the prizes list. If the number of referrals sent by contestants is the same, we will take into consideration the date when the contestants signed-up to the system. The first to sign-up to the competition is the first on the list. So the order of the contestants is calculated based on the number of referrals sent and the sign-up date.
