You can make better business decisions and improve your presence online following the data you get on your dashboard.
The brand new Dashboard was designed having in mind a friendly UX, relevancy, and easy setup. Also, we wanted our users to find all their mention information gathered in one place so they can have a clear idea of how their business is going on from a mention point of view.
We've added even more mentions data that you can find it just by scrolling on a single page - the Dashboard.
Here are some of the features you'll get within the BrandMentions dashboard; keep in mind that you can choose to see the data for the exact period of time that interest you most.
- total number of mentions
- total number of backlinks;
- total Reach for the mentions collected in the selected period of time.
- total number of positive mentions in the selected time range. Based on the Sentiment Analysis feature, you'll see how many mentions come from a positive experience.
- total number of negative mentions in the selected time range.
Furthermore, you can also see the evolution for each metric. Next to the volume, you'll see the evolution compared to the previous week, in a green or red font.
For further analysis and info on Sentiment Analysis, Reach and Performance metrics, you'll find dedicated charts.
Sentiment Analysis helps businesses gauge public opinion, conduct nuanced market research, monitor brand and product reputation, or understand customer experiences.
Reach represents the total number of people who saw your mention.
BrandMentions' Performance score shows how important a mention is. It is calculated based on the number of total shares and the domain influence of the page.
Google Trends shows you how frequently a term is entered in Google search over a period of time. You'll also get the monthly volume of Google search for the monitored brand/topic.
Moving forward on the BrandMention's Dashboard, you'll find the well-known graph with Social and Web mentions evolution from day to day, based on the selected time range.
Moreover, you'll get some brand new data within BrandMentions' Dashboard:
- The Sources of Mentions (spread on the web and all social media channels).
- The Location of the Mentions (including a map with all countries where you were mentioned).
- The Mentions by WeekDay chart shows you the volume of mentions received on a daily basis, for the last 4 weeks.
- Language representation, including all languages that contain your mention.
- Trending hashtags so you can easily see the most popular hashtags among your mentions.
- Context of mention, which shows you additional keywords and terms on the piece of content you are mentioned. The tool analyzes the whole context of a page and makes a map of keywords. Based on their popularity, you'll see keywords with a larger font (most popular), or a smaller font (those which appeared less frequently).
You'll also see included a Media Wall where you'll get to see the top post within all your data.
2. Find the Key Influencers that Mentioned You Most
An influencer could be a anyone: a Blogger, Social media personality, Celebrity, Industry expert, Thought leader, Lifestyle brand. But what's important about influencers is that their followers are loyal and frequently shape their opinions and interests.
Therefore, knowing yours or your competitors' influencers is highly important. Knowing how to find influencers who can help you get in front of your target audience is an excellent way to reach new people, drive traffic to your website, build brand awareness, and increase sales.
That's why we added the Top Influencers section, so you get to know the most popular people (influencers) that mentioned you on social media.
Based on the information you get within the Top Influencers section, you'll be able to get more brand awareness or conduct influencer marketing strategies. This section can be used for both competitor spying or to find out new influencers you could collaborate with.
Moreover, you can see the traction and engagement for each influencer. It is easy to sort and find out the one that mentioned you most or has the highest reach or impressions.
The handle is available for each influencer, so you can find their social profile and contact them for further digital marketing campaigns and strategies. Also, you can choose to get data from influencers from specific social channels: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Reddit.
3. Check out the Top Sites where You Appear More Often
Similar to the Top Influencers section, we've also added the possibility for you to see the list of Top Sites that mention you most. Get to know your "fan sites" one click away. You'll get to see how many mentions you have on each site, what is the sentiment of those mentions, their performance and impressions.
There might be sites that mentioned you and you even didn't know about. Or there might be sites mentioning your competitors and you might get inspired by their strategy. Whatever the case might be, knowing the top sites that mention you most is highly important and that's why we decided to add it within the BrandMentions tool.
4. Create Reports for Specific Segments Only
Reporting is an indispensable part of any business. Hence, the skill of report-writing is as important as the good raw material or the strategic decisions taken in order to run a business efficiently. That's why we decided to improve the reporting section from the BrandMentions app.
You know have the possibility to create projects not only on all of your mentions, but on segments of your mentions as well.
So, for instance, if you want to create a report on negative mentions only, you can do that. If you want to create another one on mentions with high performance only or on mentions written in French with a positive sentiment, you can do that as well. For example, you want to get reports only with the unlinked mentions. Which can come in handy when you're planning a link-building campaign.
You can create unlimited segments for your mentions and for each of that segment you can generate a report. Pretty neat, right?
There is a common saying that “no job is finished until the paperwork is done”. And this quote is just as true for any profession - from a small eCommerce business to the Government - because generally talking, the only way a client can judge how well you’re doing the job is by reading the reports frequently. At some point, any person working in the field is as good as his reports.
