BrandMentions has officially arrived and we are overwhelmed with excitement, gratitude, a lot of new ideas and, to be quite honest, a bit of relief.

You see, whenever a company launches a new product, there’s a bit of a gamble: they’ve invested time, money and effort into creating (then testing and repeatedly refining) something that is not a guaranteed success. Even when the product is good, it can end up not being embraced by the market. Users, on the other hand, will only know in retrospect if the product they’re buying is exactly what they needed. That’s their gamble.

And so,on the one hand, you have, the trust placed by a company in its users to see the product for all its qualities and, on the other hand, the trust placed by the users in the company’s ability to create a valuable tool.

It’s this element of trust that balances out the element of a gamble, and together they foster both creativity and hard work.

The BrandMentions Launching Contest

On the 2nd of November, we launched BrandMentions. As we usually like to spice things up, we organized a special launch event: a contest where participants were invited to refer others to join the competition and get early access to the tool. The more referrals, the more chances to win. And should you be wondering what prizes were there, well, keep your pecker up: yearly and lifetime access to 26 top digital marketing tools, worth more than $100 000.

The competition ended on the 5th of December, and by the end of the contest, almost 12k people joined.

We are thankful to all the people who registered early, and we encourage each and every one of you to try and become early adopters in at least one area. It’s not just about being the first to find out about something, it’s also about taking a vested interest in the early stages of the development of a product or company. It’s about creating a closer kind of connection and being able to contribute to the best version of that product or company through your continuous feedback.
